BABAE was an all-women, led by women, free 7-week theatre program for youngFilipino women *and non-binary folks in partnership with Sketch Working Arts and funded by Artreach Toronto. BABAE explored cultural identity through a woman’s eyes by means of performance and writing. Participants had the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of acting from seasoned professionals, and practicetheatre through movement, music, writing and more.
