Wilfrid Laurier University’s Robert Langen Art Gallery presents an interactive installation by artist Marissa Largo in an exhibition titled Maleta Stories, running from Oct. 31 to Dec. 8, 2012.
Maleta Stories explores the growing hybridity of communities and the diasporic identity that is formed through global migration. Through stop motion animation and a participatory installation, Largo invites the public to share their maleta stories – their distant or direct stories of how they came to be in Canada.
