WRITTEN BY CLUTCH Vol. 5 PARTICIPANT, JOANNA DELOS REYES

Marissa Largo and the Clutch participants mid-discussion.

During one of our first CLUTCH meetings, we met with performance artist, educator, mother and scholar Marissa Largo. Performance art has been something that I have personally become interested in during my studies. Just from hearing Marissa utter the fluidity, body politic and public space, I knew that I was in for a treat and looked forward to what the afternoon’s discussion had in store for us.

CLUTCH Vol. 5: There’s a Sculpture in Here Somewhere

WRITTEN BY CLUTCH Vol. 5 PARTICIPANT, LOISEL WILSON

“Your success is already there, you just have to chip away at what’s in front of you–your barriers–to get to what your goals might be.” This is quoted from Jennifer Gonzales, Life and Residence Coordinator at Ryerson University, and last week’s facilitator for our Goal Setting workshop. WRITTEN BY CLUTCH Vol. 5 PARTICIPANT, MARIA PATRICIA ABUEL

Financial Literacy with Rhowena Adolfo

In this week’s workshop with financial consultant (and Kapisanan Board Treasurer) Rhowena Adolfo, we learned about practical ways to budget and manage our money.

As someone who has made some inadvisable decisions with money more than once, this workshop was a very big help!  Here are some of the things I’ve learned and would like to highlight about this week’s workshop:
