Block Printing Workshop, Aug 16 & 18

Need to unleash some of your creative juices to create something new? Want to learn (or perhaps get a refresher on) a different art-making technique? Then this might just be the art attack that you’re looking for!

KAPISANAN PHILIPPINE CENTRE FOR ARTS & CULTURE presents Block Printing Workshop. Facilitated by KAPISANAN resident artist, Kristina Guison.

At this linoleum block printing two-session workshop you will create a design, carve the design into a soft linoleum block, and then print the image onto paper. Finished art work will be displayed as part of our 6th Annual Kultura Filipino Arts Festival (Aug 26-28).

We will supply all the tools necessary, you supply the creativity! If you have something you’d like to print on, or have your own tools, feel free to bring them. Beginners are most welcome! This two-session workshop is FREE for Youth (age 14-21) and VIP Club Members.
