KAPISANAN Presents: Conversational Filipino Language Program
Kapisanan Philippine Centre is offering Tagalog classes that use the direct method of learning a language. The students focus on CONVERSATIONAL skills in Tagalog. Classroom techniques include role-plays, games, songs, pair work, and writing exercises.
So we had booked D-Pryde to play KULTURA this year, and he politely had to decline because he got the chance to open for J.Cole on his Canadian Tour. And so he should! Now he’s coming back, and he wants to have a sweet little “intimate and interactive” concert with his people back home– and where better to do that than right hurr at the K!
KAPISANAN is hosting an exclusive, all-ages Homecoming Session with Mr. Prizzy. D-Pryde comes back to Toronto after his Canadian Tour with Roc Nation recording artist, J.Cole. September 2ND @ 5pm (yes THIS FRIDAY), he will be holding a Q&A session followed by a short performance inside KAPISANAN! Can you think of a better way to usher in a new school year? Come to hang out, take pictures, and meet D-Pryde before he takes the stage the next day (September 3rd) with J.Cole at the Sound Academy.
All proceeds will be donated towards KAPISANAN’s youth arts programs! Thank you Mr. Prizzy, you so sweet

Be involved, be inspired. Intern at Kapisanan!
Things have been poppin’ this year for Kapisanan, with events such as Clutch Vol. 3, Carlos Celdran’s If These Walls Could Talk at Harbourfront Centre & Livin’ La Vida Imelda, Let Your Hair Down – Kapisanan’s Art Auction Fundraiser, and the most recent event, 3-day Kultura Filipino Arts Festival.
Putting up these events require hours of hard work, and Kapisanan has been fortunate enough to have a group of dedicated interns as part of it’s support group.
Want to be involved and be inspired? Check out Kapisanan’s Internship programs in: Event Planning, Marketing and Communications, and Video Production.
